Nathan is an undergraduate student at Southern Adventist University, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a research emphasis. During his first two years, he worked with Dr. Aaron Corbit to create full-body scans of the local scorpion species using scanning electron microscopy. He has joined the Lodato lab, where he will use human cell lines to study DNA mutations associated with ALS. Nathan plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Genetics & Genomics.
